Louise has been home a little over a month and she is just thriving. She is so sweet-natured and our older girls cannot get enough of her. (Nor can I!) I’m excited to share these newborn photos that perfectly capture our joy with having her home, as well as a really special baby blanket with a royal connection.
It’s been over four years since I’ve had a baby so there are lots of new products to consider with Louise. So when Buy Buy BABY asked me to take a tour of their store recently and – and learn more about their registry – I jumped at the opportunity. If you ever buy baby gifts for friends, or are an expecting mom, you will want to read this post.
(Note: this post in sponsored by Buy Buy BABY but, as always, all opinions are my own!)
When Louise was in the NICU, the team at Emily Ley was so kind to send me one of their beautiful baby books. After trying three different baby books for my other girls, I am excited to share why this is my favorite one yet (and would make a wonderful baby gift!).
I keep getting messages on Instagram as to why Louise is still in the NICU, especially when she look so big and healthy. So I wanted to share a quick update on her health and when she might be coming home. (Warning: I am a tad emotional as I write this.)
I am happy to share that Louise is doing well and is now five pounds, six ounces! I’ve neglected to post a big update on her because I haven’t had time to sit and reflect on all that has happened, but I know so many of y’all have been faithfully keeping her in your prayers so I wanted to share what she’s been up to lately.
First, I just want to say thank you for the outpouring of love and support during these past few weeks. I’ve been kind of quiet the past few days as I’ve been recovering, but I wanted to update y’all on baby and me because I know so many of you have been praying!
I am not one who usually likes to read other people’s birth stories (so I won’t be offended if you don’t want to read mine!). But this is also a story of answered prayers, and may give hope to other moms in similar situations, so I felt it was worth sharing.
