Dallas Chic: Mi Golondrina Exquisite Embroidered Dresses

mi golondrina

It’s been said that chic Dallas women are style-setters for the rest of the south. Mi Golondrina is one of those lines Dallas women love that has spread in popularity across the country over the past few years and I am thrilled to share it with y’all today. mi golondrinami golondrina dressmi golondrina dress

Handmade in Mexican villages by talented artisans, Mi Golodrina dresses are just exquisite. These are not like the Mexican dresses you find in a Cabo gift shop. I have never in my life seen such detail and beauty in embroidery. Some of the patterns used in Mi Golondrina dresses are over 100 years old!

When I first announced my pregnancy, I asked what your favorite maternity lines were (since it’s been so long since I’ve been pregnant!). So many of my Dallas friends said they lived in Mi Golondrina dresses when they were pregnant during the summer. Now I see why! These dresses are so cool and an effortless way to look put together.

Note: Mi Golondrina is not maternity but if you go up a size, their flowy style leaves plenty of room for a growing baby bump.

I ordered a size medium but would probably normally wear a small.

Mi Golondrina also makes tops and darling girls’ dresses, too. Any style would make an incredible gift because these truly are heirloom pieces. (Mother’s Day hint, perhaps??) I’ve even seen brides give these as bridesmaids’ gifts which make for adorable “getting ready” pictures on the wedding day.

To  order, shop online or visit their Dallas showroom. Their website is continually updated so keep checking for your favorite color combination.

Thanks so much for Mi Golondrina for my beautiful dress!

P.S. If you still need a Mother’s Day gift, browse DoSayGive’s guide here.
