I had so many of you email me after Christmas and tell me that Anne Neilson’s Angels: Collectors’ Edition featured on DoSayGive’s Holiday Gift Guide was the absolute perfect gift for your mom or sister or grandmother. So today I’m thrilled to introduce y’all to the full gift line of Anne Neilson Home – just in time for Mother’s Day (including the most amazing candle ever!).
I first heard about Anne Neilson several years ago on the Today show when Kathie Lee talked about Anne’s first beautiful and moving book, Angels in our Midst. The book is a stunning collection of Anne’s Angel Series oil paintings complemented by inspirational stories. It’s a coffee table that is just asking to be opened by guests and the precious stories of hope are sweet conversation starters.
I think I told y’all this but my mom was quite literally brought to tears by Neilson’s powerful angelic images. And she’s not alone. Sometimes after the girls go to bed I’ll just flip through the pages and be so encouraged. The radiance, size, and just sheer beauty of the angels painting in the book are a like a little glimpse into heaven.
Neilson’s Angel Series has been so popular that it has expanded into a beautiful line for the home. I like to think of myself as a candle connoisseur and I can tell you from experience that their line of luxury candles is top notch. It will have everyone who enters your home asking, “what is that amazing scent?”
One of my favorites is the Luminous, but there are nine scents in all with names like Still Waters, Day Break, and Hidden Glory. And a nice bonus: each candle has an 80 hour burn time and comes with a box of coordinating matches. And a fun thing about Anne Neilson Home’s candles is that they are made with thick class that are meant to repurposed as – wait for it – margarita glasses! Which I think makes it an even more perfect gift for mom;).
Another gift idea is Neilson’s 100 day Scripture cards enclosed in an acrylic case. I gave these to my mom last Christmas and she keeps them on her vanity and changes the card every week. Each card features one of the beautiful Angel Series paintings. I snapped a photo when we visited my parents for Easter a few weeks ago:
One more meaningful detail: ten percent of Anne Neilson Home’s sales go to organizations that help the homeless and fund research for cancer and Parkinson’s Disease. So this is definitely a “gift that gives back” and one that the recipient will deeply appreciate.
You can find the entire Anne Neilson Home collection on their website or click here to see what local stores in your area carry the line. I was at Nicholson-Hardie in Dallas the other day and they had a beautiful display of many of these lovely gifts.
Thank you so much to Anne Neilson Home for sponsoring this post. It was a joy to write about this beautiful and meaningful line!
