I love sharing beautiful gift ideas with my readers, especially ones that offer a bit more depth and meaning. Dallas-based Cannon Lewis designs extraordinary jewelry that does just that.

Inspired by organic lines found in nature, with a touch of luxury and a hint of whimsy, Cannon Lewis designs are simply stunning. If you don’t know about the designer, she has been creating beautiful jewelry for over 15 years and has accounts with some of the finest stores in the country. (Funny enough, I was friends with Cannon for a while before I realized that she was a big time jewelry designer!)

Cannon does quite a bit of custom work (keep reading to see some magnificent engagement rings!) but the designer also has signature collections that never go out of style. Today, I am delighted to share with you some of my favorites from these collections. My hope is that posts like this one will perhaps spark an idea for an upcoming special occasion for you or someone you love, to make it all the more meaningful!

Keep in mind that several of her pieces come in two different price points, based on the type of precious metal you choose. Click on pictures for direct links…

With a tiny leaf detail, these amethyst drops (1.5″) are part of the Life collection.  I don’t know any woman that wouldn’t love opening a gift box with these exquisite earrings in them!

1 1/4″ Light amethyst earrings. 14K Gold Vermeil ($225) or 14K Yellow Gold ($750).

This next piece I want to show you is the Grateful bracelet, also part of the Life collection. The oval-shaped design hints of tree branches and leaves and is adorned with a brown, rose-cut diamond on the clasp.

Grateful bracelet comes in 14K gold vermeil ($155) or yellow or rose gold ($2200). Shown with rose gold and brown diamond ring ($3600).

Meant to be worn everyday, this bracelet is engraved “grateful” on the inside to remind the wearer of all she has to be grateful for. (Or perhaps it is a reminder from the gift-giver how grateful he is for her!). It can also be engraved with initials or a special message inside.

One more from the Life collection is this 3-piece yellow and rose gold Window necklace with a pink sapphire. Each of the three tablets can be flipped around for a different look. On the back is engraved on the back it reads, “Look Inside” or it can be engraved with custom names or Bible verses.

Part of the Captivate collection, these Cluster earrings with London and light blue topaz are just lovely.

Cluster London blue topaz earrings come in 14K gold vermeil ($160) or 14K yellow gold ($560).

Cannon Lewis’ Trouvé line (which means “to find” in French) offers pieces that make incredibly meaningful gifts. Take, for example, this 14K gold dove charm necklace. It is cast in the mold of the dove-shaped shell found in inside sand dollars (something Cannon collected as a child).

14K Gold Dove with Diamond on 16″ gold chain ($378)

Since the dove is the recognized symbol of peace and and goodwill this necklace, translates into a very thoughtful gift for someone. And adding to its simplicity is a tiny bezel-set diamond delicately dangling from the charm.

If you are looking for a beautiful, yet unique, everyday pair of earrings, these 14K gold leaf posts are one of Cannon’s signature designs.

14K gold leaf earrings with diamond ($150).

Staying true to her collection, these inspired by nature earrings are dressed up with a tiny diamond on each leaf. These would be a special gift for a teenage/college or someone like me that prefers to wear small earrings during the day!

I adore these little topaz and diamond earrings.  Understated elegance, don’t you think?

14K Yellow Gold Flower Earrings with Blue Topaz and Diamond. ($340)

These blue topaz studs would make the perfect gift for someone who likes small earrings but might desire something a little more sparkly than usual. The would also be a perfect graduation gift from parents or grandparents. Definitely an heirloom addition to anyone’s jewelry box.

Okay, ready for some show-stoppe earrings? These are just breath-taking. 14K rose gold earrings with light mint green amethyst (which I didn’t even know existed!) surrounded by 1.5 carats of champagne rose cut diamonds.

Like I said, simply stunning. If you have a special anniversary or birthday coming up, these might be just the thing to pass along to your doting husband!

Cannon Lewis also offers custom design work. (I already told my husband that I want her to design a new wedding band for me when the time is right!)

Here are some of the rings she has designed recently. How lucky are these brides…

And one more thing. If your ever looking for a keepsake baby gift, remember these Cannon Lewis baby spoons.

Sterling Silver baby spoon. 4″ long. ($130).

Cannon designed this sterling silver spoon after she found out she was having a baby girl. It is delicate and sweet and something so meaningful for a baby gift.
