After a LONG winter mostly stuck indoors, I sensed being outdoors would be good for our children. So I decided to book a last-minute trip to the quaint destination I’ve been reading about for several years on local message boards: Broken Bow, Oklahoma. Just three hours from Dallas (2.5 hours from Little Rock), this no-fuss destination was perfect for our family.
Last weekend I traveled to Nashville for a girls’ trip with my college friends. Since Nashville is such a hip and popular place now I thought I’d share the places we went and things we did. Along the Gulf Coast of Florida lies a 28 mile stretch of scenic highway called 30A. Dotted with dunes, cottages, boutique hotels, and new urbanist developments like Seaside, 30A exudes that laid back atmosphere we all crave with a beach vacation.
