When Louise was in the NICU, the team at Emily Ley was so kind to send me one of their beautiful baby books. After trying three different baby books for my other girls, I am excited to share why this is my favorite one yet (and would make a wonderful baby gift!).

I’ve been soaking up every moment with Louise since she came from the NICU about 10 days ago. So that’s why I’ve been a little quiet on the blog. One thing I have done, however, is started filling out her baby book. I know that if I don’t write down the sweet memories we are experiencing with Louise I will soon forget.
“The Story of You” Baby Book by Emily Ley is a beautifully bound, very thorough 3-ring book with pages for just about every special milestone from pregnancy until age two.
I love that the 62-page book comes in a white and gold keepsake box that is great for storing cards and photos until you have time to put them in the book. (And it makes it easy to wrap if you want to give as a gift!).
There are so many moments I want to record about Louise’s NICU stay but none of the other baby books I looked at really had a space to record those things. Emily Ley’s Baby Books are unique because you can purchase additional page inserts for NICU babies. So preemie moms like me have a space to record important NICU milestones like when Louise got off oxygen and when she breastfed for the first time. It also has a page for letters from siblings and parents while the baby is in the hospital, and a page for NICU photos and tiny footprints.
Having gone through infertility, Emily Ley knows that not all baby stories are picture perfect. So she thoughtfully created these insert pages for those special stories. In addition to the NICU Pages, there are insert pages for Infertility, Adoption, Heavenly Babies, and Foster Care.
The Baby Book is available in a mint green color and a new blush pink. Either one would make a thoughtful baby gift.
Thank you to the Emily Ley team for this beautiful baby gift for Louise. I will treasure it always.
