Sharing an easy gourmet Valentine’s Day gift for the bakers and cooks in your life and a little history behind the English company that’s been making their iconic mixing bowls for over 200 years.
Update: Mason Cash bowls are on Zulily!! Up to 30% off! Note: shipping time on Zulily is about 10-14 days.
I have always been drawn to these charming Mason Cash mixing bowls, but didn’t realize until recently the rich heritage behind them. Made with the finest materials and shaped into recognizable design you can spot a mile away, Mason Cash mixing bowls have endured the test of time and cooks and bakers alike want one in their kitchens:
And the cute designs on the side serve a purpose: they help the baker grip the bowl more easily!
While the traditional Mason Cash cane mixing bowl is always a good gift, I just love their heart mixing bowl (available in red and white, too) for gifts and thought it would be the perfect thing to use as the base of a Valentine’s Day gourmet gift. I filled it with shredded paper and placed this cute Anthro dish towel inside.
How fun are these Valentine’s cookie cutters from Williams-Sonoma ($6.95 for set plus free shipping today!)
To finish it off, I used an easy cellophane gift sack and threaded the ribbon through the cookie cutters before I tied a bow to add to the “pink” presentation.
Here are some other gourmet goodies to include in a Valentine’s Day gift basket (or bowl!) – perfect for a friend, teacher, loved one, or a “just because” gift!
