When I announced I was pregnant many of y’all told me that you loved ASOS’ maternity line. I had never really worn their regular clothes so was I was a bit skeptical. (Was it another one of those really cheap online clothing companies where everything runs super small??)
But I have been proven wrong. Yes, it’s inexpensive, but not so much that the clothes only last one or two wears. This gingham top I wore the the #rStheCon conference is actually really well-made for it’s $52 price tag. (Non-maternity version here and dress version here).
I have to admit: I love the off-the-shoulder trend, but I find myself always fidgeting when I wear them. That’s why I love this gingham top. It has straps so you don’t feel like it’s going to fall down all of the time.
Gingham is so “in” right now – it might be just the piece you need to jazz up your summer wardrobe!
To give you an idea of my success rate with ASOS, I have bought probably 10 things from over the past few months and have sent back about three things that didn’t work. (Thankfully everything ships and returns free!). For the most part things have fit true to size.
I haven’t had great luck with their basic t-shirts, but have liked their tops (like this top I wore to Ikea the other day and this black dressier top). I have also been really impressed with ASOS’ maternity jeans (let me know if you like their regular jeans?). I wear these maternity distressed jeans all the time.
Let me know what else I need to try at ASOS!
