We live in a throwaway culture where we buy our children new clothes every season (and simultaneously drop off a garbage bag of outgrown things to the Goodwill). But it hasn’t always been this way. The Victorians repurposed much of their clothing as did many other cultures. Thankfully, not all of that tradition is lost. Today I am delighted to share with you the hand-sewn heirloom creations of Peaches Barnes.
Having lived in New England for a bit, I have this idea that fall should be full of color and coziness, with a cool crisp in the air and LOTS of trips to the apple orchard. But in Dallas falls are just not that way and are usually still VERY hot! So we Texans have to find different ways to savor the season. Today I am thrilled to partner with one of my favorite affordable (and ready to ship!) classic children’s clothing brands, Eliza James Kids, to share some sweet and simple fall traditions you and your can enjoy in any part of the country (and in the cutest pumpkin attire!).

In a few weeks I’ll do the kindergarten drop off thing for the third time so I had to get the perfect “ABC” dress to mark the occasion. Today I’m delighted to partner with Cecil and Lou today to share some darling (and super affordable) back to school themed outfits as well as encourage other moms who are facing this big milestone with nerves and lots of emotions!

As we get closer to Mother’s Day, I wanted to take a little time to really encourage moms to get in a photo with your children (every once in awhile!) with an amazing photo session offer for my Dallas friends. Plus, a gift card to my favorite classic children’s store is included with every booking. Keep reading for details!
I’m thrilled to finally publish an extensive guide to my favorite sources for classic children’s clothing and shoes . I get asked all the time about my favorite children’s shoes, affordable brands, and appropriate clothing for older girls. For this reason, this guide will live permanently under the SHOP tab on DoSayGive’s homepage and be updated seasonally with some of my favorite finds in all price points. Be sure to browse the entire post for some precious spring finds. And please share your favorite sources in the comment section because I am sure I missed some (and I love to learn about new brands!).

Spring trunk show season has begun so today I am thrilled to partner today with Kate and Libby to share beautiful classic children’s clothing available to order at a trunk show hosted in your city or online. Yes, that’s right, you can now customize and order your children’s clothing from this darling company without ever leaving your home!
We had such a pleasant weekend here in Dallas and it got me so excited for crisp fall weather! Today I am thrilled to partner with Nordstrom to share some colorful and preppy casual basics for fall – for both girls and boys!
It’s the time of year when everyone is thinking about Christmas card photos and, with that, Christmas clothes for their children! For our latest family photos, I dressed my girls in classic children’s clothier, Florence Eiseman.
