Today I am sharing practical and thoughtful ways to help a friend on bed rest including several helpful resources. Having been on bedrest twice for extended periods of time (four months and one month) I was blown away by the kindness of friends and what they did for me. I am happy to share those with you today!
I’ve been talking about my skincare routines the past few weeks but I wanted to devote a post to what I used while pregnant and nursing since I receive so many questions about this topic. Also, I am sharing a pregnancy skincare post from a cute beauty blogger I met at #rsTheCon last weekend that may be helpful as well!
(If you are looking for details about this dress, see this post!)
I often receive emails asking me for thoughtful gift ideas for labor and delivery nurses. I think I came up with the perfect thing! I reached out to my friends at L’Occitane to help me surprise my daughter’s NICU nurses with this gift, but it’s one any nurse would love to receive!
I am not one who usually likes to read other people’s birth stories (so I won’t be offended if you don’t want to read mine!). But this is also a story of answered prayers, and may give hope to other moms in similar situations, so I felt it was worth sharing.
I was quieter than usual on social media and the blog in January and February. Partly because I know y’all were probably sick of me after my nonstop Holiday Gift Guide posting in December;). But also because shortly after the holidays we found out we were expecting and our normal day-to-day life came to a screeching halt.
